Behold Fractal Explorer. This is an older fish boat that we are re-building into a private cruising vessel for some very good people. Pictured above is the shape she was in when we started on her. Over a period of time she will be transformed to a fabulous 2 cabin private boat. Follow along with us while we take her through the transformation with PMG Heritage Yachts. Lucy and I have been working on this vessel for the past month and a half to get the hull sheathed in fiberglass and epoxy resin. Then we, along with Paul (PMG owner), tackle the interior to finish her to a well found vessel.

Below is a 9.5ft dinghy in the making. It is a family project to give the kids experience and valuable skills, both with the building and in the sailing of it. We started with the shell off a mold and designed the layout and sail plan. We then patterned and fit the parts together, added the dagger board trunk and seat, faired it and and used 6oz glass cloth with epoxy resin over the complete interior. Painted with white enamel and spar varnish. Bottom painted for use as a tender.
